Rebecca Schiller is a writer who lives with her family on a croft in the north east of Scotland. Before becoming an author, she completed a Masters degree in War Studies, was a human rights campaigner and co-founded the charity Birthrights. She is author of several non-fiction books, including Earthed and Amazing Activists, and has written regularly as a journalist. Alongside running the Mothers Who Write community, she now spends her time working with and observing horses, constructing wobbly fences and trying to understand how to be human in a more-than-human world.
