Margaret McBride is a Canberra-based education consultant and curriculum expert specialising in grammar for classroom teachers, with a career spanning TESOL teaching, teacher training and masters-level lecturing in grammar. Since 2015 her focus has been on supporting mainstream primary teachers, working with hundreds of educators through professional learning and completing a PhD investigating primary teachers' practices with grammar in 2024. She is committed to giving teachers the knowledge and clarity they need to make grammar a meaningful part of student learning.
