This isn't just another survival story--it's the raw, unfiltered truth of a girl who was never supposed to make it. Born into a world of addiction, abuse, and chaos, she grew up in a home where safety didn't exist. By sixteen, she was a mother of two, trapped in the cycle of generational trauma with no blueprint for how to escape. She dropped out of school in eighth grade and barely had time to dream before my life was consumed by violence. At eighteen, she survived a brutal home invasion and sexual assault that nearly killed her and almost convinced her to stop fighting. But somehow, even in the darkest moments, she found sparks of strength and a whisper from God that said, "This is not the end."

This book is for every woman who has been silenced, shamed, or broken--and still woke up and tried again. It's not about having it all figured out. It's about surviving when everything tells you to give up. It's about reclaiming your voice, even if it trembles. And it's about rising from the ashes of trauma and pain to find purpose, healing, and even joy. This is my story from dropout to PhD, from victim to survivor. But more than that, this is a message to every survivor: Your past does not get to define your future.
