David Good is an autistic level thinker who reverse-engineered human connection and belonging at scale. After a punishing freelance contract detonated an old car-accident injury and ended his twenty-year software development career, he spent most days of the week bedridden and in pain. From there he founded International Friend Connection, a peer-led community network that grew to more than fifty chapters across over twenty countries. David is a Points of Light honoree and a recipient of multiple Presidential Service Awards for volunteer leadership, with letters of thanks from the President of the United States. He has spoken at Meetup's twentieth anniversary and addressed its board of directors. He delivered a lecture for Cultural Autism Studies at Yale (CASY). He was also selected to attend the Seventieth Commission on the Status of Women, where he spoke up at a parallel event at the United Nations. Today he trains leaders using an ACT-informed self-leadership model and works to solve the loneliness crisis at scale. He built what he could not find, and he is not done.
