The year is 1998 when we meet Raven Kilburn, who is a jobbing actress and part-time everything else, that's when she can land herself a paying gig. She meets a man in a bookshop and takes it from there in the vain hope that he likes her casual appearance and friendly nature, because she's always willing to help others out. But she is also a tad accident prone so drama does tend to seek her out. Not to mention looking past the wiggly walk she does that to others may come across as a bit of a limp, who knows but she is conscious of it and tries to hide it, unsuccessfully. Then he leaves his book on the bus, so what's she going to do with it? Will Raven ever see him again? With the help of her friends (one of whom swears like a trooper) and a little luck, she believes that life is what you make it, which is just as well if she's to make it happen in this British comedic tale.
