Iain Reid is the author of five books, including his New York Times bestselling debut novel I'm Thinking of Ending Things, which has been translated into more than twenty languages. Oscar winner Charlie Kaufman wrote and directed the film adaptation for Netflix. His second novel, Foe, was adapted for film, starring Saoirse Ronan, with Reid co-writing the screenplay. His latest novel, We Spread, was a finalist for the Governor General's Award and also published internationally.
Ellie Foumbi is an award-winning Cameroonian American filmmaker with an MFA in Screenwriting and Directing from Columbia University's School of the Arts. Her debut feature, Our Father, the Devil, premiered at the Venice Film Festival. It went on to screen at over 50 international film festivals, winning 36 prizes, including the audience award at the Tribeca Film Festival. It received universal critical acclaim, including Independent Spirit Award and Gotham Award Nominations. It now lives on the Criterion Channel and Canal+ internationally. She's an alumna of Berlinale Talents and a BAFTA Breakthrough USA Fellow.
