Zusammenfassung

Paula Freda writing as Marianne Dora Rose presents a Clean and Wholesome Christian paranormal romance for hearts of all ages. ......

Description: No one, including her family, knew or suspected Joyce's reason for not wanting that Gary, the man whose tormented heart she desperately sought to heal and win, should hear her mother's favorite memory of what she considered her daughter's true birthday - her date and time of conception, nine months earlier, rather than her date and time of delivery written on Joyce's birth certificate, which by some inconceivable, improbable coincidence matched precisely the date and time of the death of Gary's lost love, Elise, who had died as a result of a car crash. Joyce was conceived the very night of Elise's death. Naturally, she recognized the improbability of her conception having anything to do with Elise's sworn promise to Gary on her deathbed, to return to him, Lord permitting. ......

Notwithstanding Gary's objections that he was too old for twenty-three-year-old Joyce by seventeen years, she had succeeded in gaining his agreement to date her on a friendship basis. But as their friendship grew, neither of them could explain the several cryptic coincidences, including said time and date of Elise's death and Joyce's conception. Were the coincidences merely ordinary coincidences, a fluke, a play of the heart and mind, or a miracle? Was the rumor true held by many of the old folks in their town, that the three-hundred-year-old clock, antique timepieces, hourglasses, and musical jewelry boxes repair shop that Gary and his father ran was purported to have a history of magic and the unnatural? There was a mystery to resolve before Joyce could understand why she felt she had always loved Gary, despite his love for his long-lost Elise, that kept his heart untouchable.

About the Author Dorothy Paula Freda, is also known under her pen names Paula Freda and Marianne Dora Rose. Her books range from Fiction and Non-fiction Adventure, Romance, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Poetry, Articles, Essays and How-to-Write Instructional complete with Lessons and optional assignments. Homemaker, mother of two grown sons, and former off-the-desk publisher of a family-oriented print small press, (1984 thru 1999), The Pink Chameleon, that she now publishes on line, Paula was raised by her grandmother and mother, and has been writing for as long as she can remember. Even before she could set pencil to paper, she would spin her stories in the recording booths in the Brooklyn Coney Island Arcades for a quarter per 3-minute record. She states, "I love the English language, love words and seeing them on display, typed and alive. A romantic at heart, I write simply and emotionally. One of my former editors kindly described my work, '...her pieces are always deep, gentle and refreshing....'" Paula further states, "My stories are sensitive, deeply emotional, sensual when appropriate, yet non-graphic, family fare, pageturners. My hope is that my writing will bring entertainment and uplift the human spirit, bring a smile to your face and your soul, and leave you filled with a generous amount of hope."
