Kristen Voegeli was born, and currently lives in, Georgetown, Ontario,Canada. Her love for languages and words earned her an Honours Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature from the University of Toronto. She began reading as a young child and wrote poetry in her early teens. She has lived with cats since the age of seven, and has combined her knowledge and experience with her love of writing. A devoted animal lover, she has donated to many animal welfare organizations.
