Born in 1958, Éric Zemmour worked as a journalist for three decades, notably at Le Figaro, France’s leading daily newspaper. His books criticizing judicial activism, feminism, and mass migration, along with his television appearances, have made him one of the most famous critics of progressive thought in France. He is the author of several bestsellers, including the original French edition of The Suicide of France. Zemmour ran for president in the 2022 election and founded the Reconquête party, which has become the fourth largest political force in the country.
