The present book is a diary describing every day of ordinary Ukrainian family from Mariupol since the beginning of Russian invasion 24.02.22. It's a personal story of how the family of mother, father, two daughters and a dog faced the war and tried to survive under shelling in the ghost city without electricity, gas, water, mobile service. But it's not a horror story. It's full of optimism, belief that even in the most difficult situation one should keep fighting and find the way out. It's a kind of a manual for survival which can help people to look at their own problems from the different angle and realize that while you're alive everything can be fixed.
My War is a first part of the diary describing the personal war how it was felt by the family. It's more about the emotions and feelings than of the historical description of events. The author suggests to those who are brave enough to share her journey, to see all lows and highs first-hand. Together with her family you'll cry and laugh, you'll learn to appreciate the simple things we don't value in our everyday life like salt, tooth brush, hot water or pair of socks...
