Almost as soon as her boots touch the hot Nevada sands, Major Pat Simons, assigned to command the lab's security detachment, suspects she's being lied to about the purpose of the lab and the mysterious circumstances surrounding her predecessor's death.
With her career already hanging by a thread due to a past misjudgment, Simons is reluctant to challenge her commander or the staff at the lab which includes a former lover.
