I titled this book Style Is A State of Mind because that's really where style begins. How we feel on the inside usually determines how we look on the outside. I'm drawn to bright colors because I have a big personality. My mom on the other hand loves anything black & white, olive green, and tan. She has a quieter and more subdued personality like that of an introvert. People who prefer to fade into the background and who don't draw attention are usually not wearing loud, bright colors. People like me will walk into a room and welcome all the attention and admiration. That's just part of my confidence. Then there are those who are stuck in a decade of time and decided not to join us in the 21st century. That includes clothing, shoes, hair styles, makeup, and sometimes ways of thinking that are just antiquated. Sidebar: I have always and will always be attracted to well-dressed, well-groomed men. It's non-negotiable.
