Meet Mac Wolf, a burned out history teacher and gifted but struggling guitarist dreaming of "making it big" with his music. When his path crosses with a homeless kid in beautiful and historic Charleston, SC, his life takes an unexpected twist.
Richard "Wolf" Lewis developed a love for playing the guitar- both acoustic and electric - and is mostly self-taught. He started playing guitar at the ripe young age of 5. He enjoys sharing his amazing talent as a lead guitarist and a lead vocalist with his band. He and his wife, Donna, currently reside in Florence, South Carolina. He is also a talented artist and created the illustrations for our book. Zoe Lynn "Poppy" Lewis grew up loving school and dreamed of writing books as early as kindergarten. She is a retired Special Education teacher of the Williamsburg County School District in Kingstree, South Carolina. She currently resides at her rustic lake cottage in Manning along with her dog, Freckles, and Freckles' cat, Kit-Kat. She enjoys teaching the children at her church, Santee Baptist Church, and participating in the early Sunday morning worship services at Manning First Baptist Church. She enjoys keeping in touch with her friends, many of whom are from Sandy Ridge Girl Scout Camp, where she created many wonderful memories as a camper and staff member. Her nickname, "Poppy", is short for "Popcorn", her original Camp Name when she first became a counselor at Sandy Ridge. She volunteers with the Williamsburg County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and the American Red Cross and enjoys volunteer tutoring and playing the hand bells and chimes.
