On Christmas Eve 1978, the author experiences a fatal accident. Travel with him as
he goes 'back in time' to Heaven.. and witnesses the creation of the Herald Angels.
They, for the sole purpose of 'making up' hymns to herald the Coming of Christ. Jack
Frost.. the final and most unlikely candidate.. creates a "new kind 'a singin'", THE
CAROL!.. But, the choirmaster Gabriel and other angels can not forsee its validity.
Jack refusing their denial retreats to Earth, undertaking a 'Centuries-long QUEST'
to prove his point.. little knowing himself, the 'catalystic' events that this CAROL
will ultimately bring to pass!
