Biodiesel, a renewable biofuel, presents itself as a solution to the current harm caused by oil and its derivatives, significantly reducing the emission of gases that cause global warming. Brazil is in a position to lead the world in biodiesel production. Its use totally or partially replaces petroleum diesel in lorry engines, tractors, cars, electricity and heat generators, among others. Obtaining biodiesel from soya oil provides higher yields, biodiesel plays an important role for both the environment and the economy, as well as having the social aspect of its production.
