Annelie Fahlstedt is a classically trained, professional violinist with degrees in music from Oberlin College and Northern Illinois University.
Active as a freelance violinist in the tristate area, Annelie was a string educator and orchestra director in the Caldwell/West Caldwell, New Jersey, public schools for twenty-five years. She also has a certificate in Suzuki violin teaching from the School for Strings in New York City and maintains a private studio.
With an appreciation for all the arts, Annelie enjoys weekly tap and ballet lessons, as well as walks with her collie named Flicka.
Besides music, Annelie has a passion for writing and in 2012 received a diploma from the Institute of Children's Literature in West Redding, Connecticut. Fiddle Stew is her first published children's book.
Like Gracie in the story, Annelie still finds daily practice a challenge!
