Ruth Zimmerman is a farmer's wife, mother of five, grandmother and author of the children's books "Rigby Makes a Difference" and "Turtle's Day Out." Having raised pumpkins for over 20 years, she has welcomed guests to their farm every fall for pumpkin picking and fun fall activities. Ruth loves teaching and uses her writing to educate kids about both farm and country living. Her children's books are based on her real-life experiences at Hickory Creek Farm and her desire is to communicate valuable lessons.
