Dr. William R. Phillippe has spent over 65 years studying and enjoying the Bible. While he has earned a number of degrees both academic and honorary, he tells people that he is not an academic theologian but a pulpit theologian. He reads, studies and debates then takes what he has learned and puts it into language for a congregation to understand and enjoy. He estimates that he has given over 2,000 sermons and addresses before a wide range of both believers and unbelievers. He has often been introduced as a biblical preacher and truly his love of scripture comes forth with amazing vigor and passion.
