Shylock in Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice was denied his pound of flesh because he couldn't take a drop of blood. But, when you're dealing with sharp-toothed nipple clamps, needles and spikes, there's bound to be a little blood. After all, we're talking about brutal, painful torture, aren't we?
