Born into a singing family in Topeka, Kansas, Doris Green used her gift of singing. It brought her into a relationship with the Lord when she was asked to sing in a church while in high school, and she made a decision for Him there. Still in her teens she met an Airman, Bennie Green. She made sure he was a Christian too before she married him. Their shared life as a military family led them to various places in the world and produced four children.

Doris studied cosmetology and had several salons. Her story details the many healings in her family, protection from harm, and lay missions she and Bennie went on. She's open about their difficulties, but also shares happy memories of their travels together and retirement years.
