Saeida Rouass is of Moroccan descent, born and raised in London. She completed her Masters in Sustainable Development at the University of Exeter. Having spent a number of years as a lecturer within the Adult Lifelong Learning sector in London, she then worked internationally. She has worked as a teacher and trainer in various countries including Tunisia, Egypt, Kuwait, Borneo, Malaysia and Ethiopia. She currently manages an education programme for a government conservation project in the Sultanate of Oman and lives in a fishing village on the outskirts of Muscat, the capital.
