Charlotte & Peter Fiell are leading authorities on twentieth and twenty-first century design, and have written over 40 bestselling books on the subject. Charlotte studied at the British Institute in Florence and at Camberwell College of Arts, London, where she studied the History of Drawing and Printmaking with Material Science. She later trained at Sotheby's Educational Studies, also in London. Peter also trained at Sotheby's and received an MA in Design Studies from Central Saint Martin's, London. Steven Heller is an American art director, journalist, critic, author, and editor who specializes in topics related to graphic design. He is co-chair of the MFA Designer as Author programme at the School of Visual Arts, New York, and is author of and contributor to over 50 books on design, including Citizen Designer: perspectives on design responsibility (Allworth Press, 2003), 100 ideas that changed Graphic Design (LKP, 2012), and Graphic: inside the sketchbooks of the world's great graphic designers (The Monacelli Press, 2010). |
